Brandee Cooke-Brown received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in Psychology.
After college, Brandee spent two years working as a College Advisor in her hometown of Lansing, MI. She then moved on to work in the private sector for several years, before joining 100K Ideas.
Brandee joined the 100K Ideas team in December 2017, shortly after the organization launched that November. The mission of helping people move their ideas forward is what drew her to the organization and continues to inspire her. Under her tenure, 100K Ideas launched two Office Hours locations on the northside of Flint. Brandee also implemented the youth programming initiatives, 100K Ideas’ High School Summer Experience and 100K Ideas’ Fellowship; and helped to implement the idea pitch competition, Pitch For $K. Brandee's primary focus for 100K Ideas is ensuring the residents of Flint have access to 100K Ideas and the resources they offer.
