Sandra Cochrane is the Assistant Dean of the Innovation Center at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. The Innovation Center is a 68,600 s.f. technology business incubator in Kalamazoo, MI. Services she provides to clients include business plan development, accessing capital, and general business consultation. She works with pre-seed funds, angel groups, and venture capital firms to connect companies to capital. Sandra served for six years on the board of
directors of the International Business Innovation Association and is the president of the Michigan Business Incubator Association. Sandra also serves as a reviewer for the National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Program. Sandra
earned a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University and holds an InBIA Certificate in Business Incubator Management.
