Ford is building a mobility innovation district in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood, anchored by the city’s iconic train station. Called Michigan Central, it will draw leading entrepreneurs, researchers, and technologists from Detroit and around the world to co-create and test new products and services on real-world streets, in real-world situations. As part of its effort to lay the foundation for the innovation ecosystem that will ultimately live within the district, Ford has announced a collaboration with NewLab to drive sustained mobility innovation Detroit.
